Overview

Seamless, hollow, durable.

Rotational molding rotates a heated mold on two axes so resin coats the walls evenly. The result is a seamless, stress-free hollow part with uniform walls and no weld lines.

It's ideal for large, durable, hollow parts — tanks, containers, and housings — at low-to-medium volumes with moderate tooling cost.

  • Seamless hollow parts. Uniform walls, no seams or weld lines.
  • Multi-station capacity. 42 total arms across machines.
  • CNC secondary trim. Clean cutouts and finishing.
  • Tough by design. Durable polyethylene parts.
How it works

From print to rotomolded production.

01

Design & tooling

Part and tool designed for even wall distribution.

02

Material charge

Resin charged into the mold.

03

Multi-station molding

Heated, biaxial rotation coats the walls.

04

Cooling & demold

Controlled cooling, then demold.

05

CNC secondary trim

Cutouts and trim finished by CNC.

Applications

Where it fits.

  • Tanks & containers. Seamless, leak-resistant vessels.
  • Large housings. Durable enclosures and shrouds.
  • Ducting & enclosures. Hollow structural parts.
  • Outdoor & durable parts. Tough, weather-resistant components.
Common materials. LLDPE, HDPE, and crosslink polyethylene.

FAQ

Common questions.

What is rotational molding best for?
Large, hollow, seamless parts — tanks, containers, and housings — where durability and uniform walls matter and volumes are low-to-medium.
How much capacity do you have?
Multiple station machines with 42 total arms.
Do you finish the parts?
Yes — CNC secondary trimming handles cutouts and finishing.
